Úvaha nad oblékáním a módou je od Barči Hlobilové z oktávy.
I am very interested in fashion like every normal girl. But it is not the whole world to me. I love shopping with my mum because she always gives me good advice and it is relaxing for me. I go shopping only on sales because I am very happy and satisfied when I find something great what used to be very expensive.
Sometimes it is difficult to buy trousers or jeans because I am very short but the advantage of this is that I can shop in children's store so it is cheaper. The favourite thing which I buy are earrings or T-shirts and on the other hand I hate buying shoes.
To fashion belong models and magazines and I really hate when I see very thin young girls on the cover pages who give in to modelling completely. I don't copy fashion style from magazines because sometimes it's very crazy and the way I dress influences my mood. In my opinion fashion is quite important because we can recognize mood or character of people but it is very bad to judge people because of their clothes. Although unfortunately nowadays this happens very often.
V říjnových hodinách sexty bylo probírané téma zločiny. Úkolem studentů bylo napsat povídku s kriminální zápletkou v rozmezí 130-150 slov. Zde je pár úkázek. První příběh napsala Anička Grufíková.
Death in the waves Two weeks ago, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson had left to Canary Islands on a plane. After they lodged up in their hotel near the coast, they went to the sea. They were swimming and sunbathing on the beach every day, and they looked very content and happy together. But one day, Mrs. Jackson died. She drowned in the sea. Nobody saw anything. Her husband said that he had been gone to the shop to buy something to drink and when he came back to the beach, he couldn't find his wife. He was looking for her for a long time, but she wasn’t there! He called the police. The police found Mrs. Jackson and they were inquiring into this event, because nobody knew, if it was only an accident or a crime. Police looked round the scene of the crime but they found nothing. And there wasn't any witness either. But after 3 days, when Mr. Jackson came back to his home-town, police arrested him... Why? Detective needed only one call to solve this occurrence. He phoned to the travel agency and there they told him, that husband had bought the return ticket only for himself. Then Mr. Jackson admitted his guilt. Studentka sexty Denisa Krásná vytvořila příběh volně inspirovaný vlastní zkušeností:
Esej na téma závažné problémy v naší zemi či na světě napsal student sexty, Lukáš Dohnal, jako součást písemné práce v rámci vyučovací hodiny v říjnu 2009: The serious global problem is that people don’t express themselves openly, and they are too bonded by the non-dynamic social and religion conventions, which have no value whatsover on thein own. It may not sound so, but this is really a serious problem – it is rooted in our subconsciousness. This problem practically is a cause of stuff like xenophobia, religion wars, feeling of separation from other and so on. I care about this problem, because I was destined to live in this society by my birth, and it’s important for me, what mentality this society has. It affects my everyday life. If we don’t realize, how much bonded and controlled we are by our prejudices and traditional angles of view, then there is no way to evolve into better beings – as a society, as well as individuals. We must grasp our better qualities as humans, like compassion for all beings, empathy… And use it to make world a better place than it’s now. But problem does not lie in global warming. Problem does not lie in scarcity of natural resources. Problem lies in our approach, in our minds… In our hearts. Every one of us has the choice in his hands. Let’s show Mother Nature that we are better creation than mindless animals. Until now, we’ve proven otherwise. Let’s turn the tide, together, hand in hand. Noone will do that instead of YOU. Every one of us is involved in creating a better place, full of unconditioned love and understanding for everyone. That is our responsibility as human beings. Příspěvek z písemné práce nejmenovaného studenta oktávy, který pochází z loňského června, tehdy studenta septimy : A month in the wild We have been planning this for a long time. It took several months to buy everything we would need and discuss the basic problmes and details. Then time had come, the day D. We were nervous, maybe a little frightened but no one spoke about that. We set out and there was no way back. Everyone knew it. That had been 17days ago. Today we have already solved our problem with water. Fortunately. We have found a brook about two kilometres west off our log cabin. It´s far but better than nothing. I am happy because I was thinking about giving it up yesterday. I couldn´t have ever imagined what it is like to stay a month far far away from all civilization. I start to believe that I and my friends will manage. It is 17th June today. I can´t believe it is 30 days since we had departed from our homes and thrown our old lives away. We have spent all this time in the mountains of Scandinavia, being thrown just upon ourselves. We all have changed. And our friendship which have started here, will never end. V březnu 2009 se kvinta učila psát neformální dopis formou poděkování za dárek, rozsah se měl pohybovat kolem 130-150 slov. Dear Santa, thank you very much for the presents that you gave me last Christmas. All of them are really brilliant but the Ferrari 230-60-500 is the best. I've driven it since Xmas twenty times and the farthest place I have been was Northcape - Norway. I wanted to visit you there but the way to North Pole was under snow so I couldn't. I hope that I can visit you in summer as last year. It was nice. Do you remember our chess tournament? In my opinion you will be defeated again Santa! I will try to teach you how to play it. My mother thinks that you should come here and visit us. She can prepare some cakes for you and Mrs. Santa. So it will be all that I wanted to tell you. I am sending lots of greetings to the Pole. Hans ********************* Dear aunt Susan, Thank you so much for the scarf you sent me for my birthday. It’s amazing! All of my classmates have been bothering me since I got it. They’re so annoying! It’s my scarf! It’s mine! I love the stripes, colours, length and the material it was made from! Well, I think you could send me something more expensive but I am ok with the scarf. I guess it’s the best present I got for my b-day. Except of my annoying classmates, everything’s ok. The weather’s fine, I’m good at school too. My mood dropped when I found out I’m not going to receive any other presents. Too little gifts, too cheap. Some stupid T-shirts, books and other crap. Thank you once again. With love, Milan ********************* Dear John, I really thank you the experience gift that you gave me. It was really exciting and I enjoyed it very much. In the morning I was a little bit frightened because I have never flown before, but when I saw the helicopter, I was very happy that I can fly in it. It was wonderful to see the land from the sky. When I saw thousands of tiny houses and people, all my problems became nothing. When the helicopter landed, I wanted to take the flight once more. So I really enjoyed it and I will remember it my whole life. And my birthday party? It was good too. I received many presents (like DVD, books and some money too) but in comparison to your gift it was nothing. So thank you again and take care of yourself. Ondra ********************** Dear auntie Lucy, I’d like to thank you and uncle John for my absolutely amazing birthday gift. I think it was a great idea to give me an experience gift. A day in a hot air balloon has been really impressive. I reckon it was one of my best days I have ever had. The rise was long but not boring and the view from balloon was charming. The flight took about…. I don’t know, it was perhaps whole afternoon, it was really brilliant. For my birthday I received many presents and I’d like to show you all of them, if you are here in the Czech Republic. I am really looking forward to seeing you, uncle John and my cousins Paul and Lisa. So I’d like to say thank you one more time because it was really one of my best experience. Love, Sabina ****************************************************************************************************************** V březnu 2009 se 2.A učila psát neformální vzkazy, pozvání na večírek či dopis coby výměnu informací. Rozsah byl dán 100-120 slovy. Dear Judy, We have holidays and I want to be with you! You are my best friend! I am organizing a disco with my friends in our village. There will be lots of food, drink and lots of great and happy people, fun and dancing. Next day we can go swimming, dancing and have a rest! I hope that you come. I am looking forward to meeting you. Yours Klára ************************ Dear Lindsay! How are you? What is new? And how are Tom and Peter? I am sorry I haven’t written for so long but I have been terribly busy! You know that, right? Well, I really miss hanging out with you guys. But last week we had some holidays so I finally went skiing with my dad and Lucie. I can’t wait to ski again. And I’ll definitely send you some pictures. We went there only three days but I took so many pictures! It was such fun! Maybe when you once visit the Czech Republic we’ll go skiing too… So this was my holiday. I would be happy if you write me about yours. Please write soon. Love, Kristina
Escapade Deryck used to ride his bike to the school every day including the days, when it was raining. He locked the bike in front of the school. There were about 10 other bikes every day so he wasn't worried about theft. One day, when he had finished the last lesson, he went out from the building and he was shocked. His bike wasn't there. Someone had stolen it while he was sitting in the class and studying. He called the police and they started investigation. They questioned few people from the school, but all of the questioners were astonished. They had no idea who could be the thief. The police said, that they would write a notice about the theft. Deryck was really upset and he started looking for the thief. Next day he borrowed a bike from his friend, it was really a nice, new bike and he hid an alarm to the light while he was waiting. Nobody came but he didn't expect succes immediatelly. After one week he was disappointed, because his plan didn't work. But then, when he was losing all his hopes, the thief came again. He wasn't so clever because he was stealing at the same place. The police caught him and then arrested. It was a young man in his twenties, who wanted to earn some money. In the end Deryck got his bike back.
